  Raj is determined to achieve her goals, and is willing to do whatever it takes in order to do so. 'Slow and steady' describes the hunter's approach to most things. She remains quiet and prefers to gather as much information as possible before making decisions. The Rex may be slow to anger, but her wrath is terrible, and she is slower still to forgive. She is driven to succeed, and finds faults within herself far faster than she'll notice them in others.

  S H A P E S H I F T ♕ When in possession of her necklace, Rajni is able to shift forms, as can most trained adults from the Crystal Isles. Unlike these more gifted shapeshifters, however, Rajni was never trained to shift. Her ability was one born of passionate rage and desperation, her form chosen by the heat of the moment, and it is not set in stone. The shift is painful and swift, and her form may be almost completely humanoid, or a monstrous mixture of feral rex and human. She requires a few hours rest between shifting. She cannot shift without the necklace. J A W S T R E N G T H ♕ The Thundertooth possesses the most powerful jaws among known terrestrial animals. They are capable of biting through flesh, bone, and even some stone. In their natural forms, their teeth are some of the largest on record. They are serrated and strong, each set serving a different purpose. Some are stronger and more dull, better able to withstand the tremendous pressure exerted by overdeveloped jaw muscles. Others are intended to cut and tear meat. Even in humanoid form, Rajni can bite hard enough to dent thick steel bars, though she would have to chew and worry at the bars for a long time to get through them. V I S I O N ♙ Though this is not true of all Thunderteeth, Rajni has exceptionally poor vision. Without the aid of vision correction, she can make out blobs of color at best. This can lead to problems with her having trouble noticing slim objects in front of her, or reading facial expression. Cage bars are often difficult for her to see, and others have witnessed her actually running into them without realizing they were there. Due to her poor eyesight, it's rumored that standing still will effectively allow someone to hide from her. Her sense of smell may effectively negate this weakness. S T A R S T O N E ♖ Rajni's star stone is the red crystal connected to her necklace. It sometimes glows, usually when exerting power, or when Rajni's emotions run wild. Obtained by defeating the shaman it once belonged to, the strange crystal seems to have fully accepted Rajni as its owner. The crystal has absorbed decades, centuries, worth of power while in the possession of its previous owner. It is capable of great magical feats, though the Thundertooth is unaware of how to control it, or even what it might be capable of doing. For now, all she can do is shift with it, and she is effectively trapped in whatever form she happens to be in whenever parted from it. Due to the magic it has absorbed, it has also been able to heal her when she was at death's door.

  C A M O U F L A G E ♕ Due to the chromatophores in the Thundertooth's skin, she is capable of manipulating their own colors. Most Thunderteeth can manipulate their bodies to show up to two colors, which are broken up between their main body hue and that of the markings they have been born with. Some (usually elder) Thunderteeth have been able to create mottled effects that are not dependent upon how their markings lie. Color shifting may also occur in relation to the Thundertooth's emotions. This is most often illustrated by markings appearing, and rippling across her hide. S M E L L ♕ Perhaps Rajni's greatest gift is her sense of smell. Everyone has a specific scent, one which remains with them even after bathing. She can follow a scent from miles away, seeking it out even after it has grown old and weak. Her sense of smell will enable her to hunt down a specific creature even in a herd, or find a particular person hidden in a city. Despite her poor vision, she is able to identify by scent alone, rendering her capable of hunting by day or night. Visual disguises will not work on her; the rex depends almost entirely on scent in order to identify everything. N I G H T T E R R O R S ♙ It is rumored that the rex will often wake up at night, snarling and thrashing. Due to her habit of disturbing those near her, she is chained separately from her cage mates in order to avoid accidents. She rarely has restful sleep, and prefers to avoid it if she can. This leaves her tired and somewhat dull regardless of the time of day or night. S P E E D ♙ In her natural state, the Rex's size alone renders her somewhat slow, though her strength and reflexes make up for it. As a humanoid, her sense of balance is completely off. She is unaccustomed to moving around in the humanoid body, and she is noticeably slower than others.
